A Review by Stuart Gutteridge 17/10/02
Silent Warrior draws on Alien as one of its main sources for inspiration. Featuring the more naive (than Ripley) Sylvia Tanner who strikes a deal with Field Major Sontaran Starn. Then the unexpected arrival of an investigator called Alex opens up a new can of worms. What raises this story is the fact that Starn is not your average Sontaran and this is of course reflected in John Wadmore`s performance. Add to this the talents of Michael Wade as Alex, who manages to strike a chord by being different to Lockwood. Combined with Mike Neilson`s wondeful incidental music and you have something close to perfection.
