MythMakers 27 Louise Jameson |
A Review by Stuart Gutteridge 2/12/02
"I was forever crossing out "Leela screams" - Leela doesn`t scream, she only screams when a giant rat eats her."This Myth Makers is particularly entertaining and despite being ten years old has aged remarkably well. Taking place in a Victorian Museum, it allows us to glimpse Louise`s range when it comes to acting and demonstrates well her love for classical theatre. Doctor Who is of course covered, including Leela`s character, costume, Tom Baker and John Leeson, plus the way she was written out. Similairly Tenko and Bergerac are given the same sort of treatment. Add to this Louise reading excerpts from the Virgin novelisations and you have a first class tape.
