Polly is probably my favourite companion of the Hartnell/Troughton era. Apart from being blonde, beautiful and bored; this being the subtext for her to enter the TARDIS, she was also quite intelligent. She stood up to the Cybermen, invented "Polly Cocktail" and also was resourceful in The Highlanders, even resorting to blackmail to get her own way. Fashionable, fun and a great double act with Ben ensures that she will be remembered with affection by this fan at least.

GREATEST MOMENT: The Moonbase, the inspired use of "Polly Cocktail" proving that there is more to her than good looks.
