The Land of Glass Trees

Welcome to the Land of Glass Trees

Today is our 7th calamity day of the school year. OK, so we’ll have to make it up later, but for today, I’m going to stay inside and enjoy the view. (Maybe it’ll melt enough so that I can get to the post office before they close this afternoon.)

  1. Pretty trees. Nasty weather. We didn’t get ice, but we did get about 8 inches of snow. Luckily, kids came to the door, and I had money on hand to pay them. Some how, it doesn’t seem like I should shovel that much snow while I’m home recovering from a heart procedure. Now that my driveway is clear, I might even try to get out to the bank and grocery store this afternoon.

    1. Heh, you definitely should *not* be shoveling that much snow. Last night when talking with the folks I assured them that this was the perfect 2 months to go to California. 🙂 Which reminds me, I should send them the other ice photos that I took.
