Happy (nearly belated) Mother’s Day to all you mom’s (or wannabes) on my flist! I got my mom a t-shirt which says “Ask me about my grandcats” and has a couple of paw prints on it. I also got her a gift certificate to a wine store in Troy. We also (her, dad and I) went to see a few homes in Troy just for grins (the last day of a Home Builder’s Association home show). Tomorrow, I hope to post some pictures of my new Floor to Ceiling bookshelves built by my dad (with help from me & mom). Yay!

Thanks, Treen! I actually didn’t do anything with Mom or Mom-in-law this weekend. It was all about me! (But we visited Mom-in-law last weekend and my family was too exhausted to have me visit yesterday.)
Glad you got to have a Me Weekend. Those are the best. 🙂 My sister’s birthday is May 8th, so she’s had to share her b-day with Mother’s Day before. Rachel is May 12th, so I’m guess she has too. Poor dears! (Hey, at least their birthday isn’t a week after Christmas!)
and when was the last time you had to go to work on your birthday? Or play softball? Or go to the Spring Band & Choir Concert? And I don’t remember having a parade on my birthday . . .
