Today was the first day of school (for kids – we teachers have been back since Friday). It was a very pleasant day. The classes were fun and I have high hopes for my new course, Advanced Problems in Science. It’s good to get off to a good start for the year. 🙂 Tonight, as per family tradition, the folks and I will head off to Frisch’s Big Boy for supper. Yay!

Hooray for great teachers like you, Trina! I still wish my kids could have been in your classes. Hope this new crop is as good as you hope they will be. Xander’s new science teacher is made of awesome (so he says). AND, she’s a Doctor Who fan. Who could ask for more?? Sadly, although Xian’s physics teacher seems pretty good (so far), she’s not terribly stimulating. Then again, physics labs are rarely as all-out fun as chem labs. So there ya go.
I’m from new york originally so i’m still not used to these different resturants.That big boy mascot creeps me out, not sure why. You may be a new yorker if: Sonics are little blue hedgehogs and big boy is usually part of a phrase beginning with “c’mere”.
